In his speech to the nation on the 77th Independence Day, the Prime Minister urged people to seize the chance to realize their nation’s potential since the choices and sacrifices they make now will have an impact on the country for the next 1,000 years.

Mr. Modi asserted on August 15 that India was at a critical juncture and had the power to influence the new global order that was taking shape in the wake of the COVID outbreak. He also promised his people a “New India” with a promising future within the next five years.
The government would launch the “Vishwakarma Yojana” next month, according to the prime minister, with an allocation of $13,000 to $15,000 crore for those with traditional skills. The program will be introduced on Vishwakarma Jayanti the next month.
He continued by saying that the government would soon introduce a program to help city dwellers who want to acquire a home using bank loans.
According to Mr. Modi, his administration would shortly introduce the program for middle-class families who reside in cities but do not own homes.
Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence in his ability to address the nation from the Red Fort the next year to update the public on the status of the promises he had given to them, even if it was his final Independence Day speech before the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
