By earning more than $22 million for more than 30 charity organizations, the Northwestern University Dance Marathon will mark its golden jubilee in 2024.
The primary beneficiaries of the event will be Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana, a nonprofit that provides housing and assistance to families with children who require urgent medical care.
A Dance Marathon
Dance Marathon is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and NUDM is thrilled to be working with Ronald McDonald House to commemorate this milestone.
A 30-hour dance marathon with hundreds of dancers is the culmination of NUDM’s yearlong fundraising and service initiatives, one of the largest independent student-run charities. Significant growth and recognition prospects for NUDM are presented by the partnership.

The money will be used to increase Little Heroes League’s in-hospital programs, which will result in over 10,000 more family touch points, service delivery points, and healthcare access points.
Next spring, the Dance Marathon will celebrate its 50th anniversary, and new and exciting events are planned. NUDM is thrilled with the accomplishment and wants to have a big impact on the neighborhood.
